Friday 7 June

VWA Coaching Discussion: 6:00pm; Meeting Room 1 – Albany Leisure & Aquatic Centre (52/70 Barker Road, Centennial Park). Coaches and Teachers from the Great Southern Region are invited to this FREE session designed to build capacity on topics such as coaching philosophy/approach, game management and session planning and an opportunity for a question & answer session with coaches who have coached State League, State Junior, National Junior and other experienced coaches. This coaching discussion is hosted by Volleyball WA in collaboration with Reds Volleyball Club and a chance for coaches to earn CDC points. Saturday 8 June
Junior Development Session: 8:00 – 10:30am; Great Southern Grammar School (244 Nanarup Road, Kalgan). Junior athletes from the Great Southern region have a fantastic chance to improve your overall volleyball game with innovative and engaging drills delivered by experienced including WAVL State League and WA State Junior coaches. The Junior Development will be a fun and exciting opportunity which will take your skills, control and gameplay to the next level, including information about your volleyball options!
 

Senior Development Session: 10:00 – 12:00pm; Great Southern Grammar School (244 Nanarup Road, Kalgan). Adult (18+) athletes from the Great Southern region have a fantastic chance to improve your overall volleyball game with innovative and engaging drills delivered by experienced including WAVL State League and WA State Junior coaches. The Junior Development will be a fun and exciting opportunity which will take your skills, control and gameplay to the next level!

Hitting Clinic: 1:00 – 3:00pm; Great Southern Grammar School (244 Nanarup Road, Kalgan). Hitting and winning points is one of the most enjoyable feelings in volleyball. Learn how to hit with more power, control and efficiency with WAVL State League players. This session is your chance to receive hitting technique advice and development for all hitting position from some top level attackers who will be on show in our Regional Round showcase match.
 
WAVL State League Matches: From 6:30pm; Albany Leisure & Aquatic Centre (52/70 Barker Road, Centennial Park). Come down and watch the Reds Volleyball Club and UWA Volleyball Club State League Men and State League Women go head to head. Tickets are $5 each and available online or on the night at the door!
Sunday 9 June
Passing & Defence Clinic: 9:00 – 11:00am; Great Southern Grammar School (244 Nanarup Road, Kalgan). Passing and Defence are incredibly important skills to the control of the game and setting up a strong offence. Learn the technical and tactical information from this specialised session for passing and defence to help your passing accuracy and to execute more digs!
